Dustin York

This freelance project was a design for a music album for a Massachusetts-based alternative band called Deadspin. Imagery shown was created based on the album title, “Little Birds are Like Bullets”. The photo illustrations are intended to be attractive and bright but also subtly ominous. The album cover’s typography is also a custom illustration, they were created by using photographs taken of stencil-cut metal signs that I found along wilderness trails in Yosemite.
